Olivia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has experience working with families, couples, adults, adolescents and younger children. She values family systems theory concepts and enjoys working with clients to discuss effective communication, improve parenting skills, foster independence and healthy differentiation, and create positive outcomes using a strength-based perspective. Olivia is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH marriage facilitator and an adoption competent practitioner. She has received specialized training as a Neurofeedback Specialist, Interactive Metronome practitioner, and Integrated Listening Systems-Focus Systems and Safe and Sound Protocol Provider.
Olivia primarily works with children and adolescents who struggle wth emotional regulation, behavioral problems, attachment issues and social challenges. Olivia uses cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and narrative therapy to help clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, life and family transitions, behavioral concerns and struggles with attention and focus.
Olivia offers a systemic approach when working to resolve various life stressors and is available to collaborate with other providers and schools when needed. She seeks to understand and implement body/mind connectedness, often integrating movement and play into her sessions.
